On the afternoon of 16 August 2022 the finals of the second HRG (Hefei) International Innovation Research Institute science and innovation competition were held in the Hefei Economic & Technological Development Area. Six technology translation teams that had come through qualifying rounds competed on stage, taking first, second and third prizes.
The event was a special roadshow held by Hefei's science-results translation brand "KeLiKeQi Innovation Fair" together with the HRG Hefei Institute, aimed at matching the results of new R&D institutions with application companies and investors, and deepening the integration of technology, industry and capital.
Fourteen teams entered the preliminary round across robotics, intelligent equipment, optoelectronic sensing, healthcare and modern agriculture; six reached the final, competing both offline and via livestream.
Tipsense founder Mr. He Dawei presented in detail the "flexible piezoelectric film sensor project that accurately monitors health through a thick mattress", covering the core team, technical barriers, product development and market prospects. Judges from research, industry, investment and legal backgrounds offered targeted feedback and practical guidance. Tipsense's "printed flexible piezoelectric film pressure sensor project" ultimately won second prize.
