The core team spans three disciplines: materials science, microelectronics, and signal processing & algorithms. R&D Director Zhu Kai holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Tennessee and an MSc in Microelectronics from Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He spent nearly a decade as a senior analog IC design engineer at Texas Instruments in the US, has published more than 10 SCI/EI and IEEE papers, and holds 4 international invention patents and 10 national patents.
The team has engineering experience across piezoelectric material formulation and poling, flexible electrode printing, weak charge signal conditioning and multi-sensor fusion algorithms — the ability to move a laboratory result into a manufacturable, deliverable product.
Long-term R&D partnerships with Fudan University and Hefei University of Technology keep the technology iterating through industry-academia collaboration.
