On 29 November 2022 the "Smart Jianghuai, Winning the Future" 2022 Jianghuai Returnee Summit opened in Hefei, attended by Zhang Ximing, Member of the Standing Committee of the Anhui Provincial Party Committee and Head of the United Front Work Department.
At the event, Yu Zhenzhong, Director of the HRG Hefei Institute, attended as a talent representative, and the institute signed a settlement intention agreement with Hefei Tipsense Technology.
The summit was co-hosted by the Anhui Committee of the China Zhi Gong Party and the Anhui Overseas-Educated Scholars Association. The institute has long used talent policies such as the Anhui "Jianghuai Talent Programme" to build a platform attracting outstanding overseas returnees into emerging industries.
Tipsense R&D Director Zhu Kai holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Tennessee and an MSc in Microelectronics from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and spent nearly a decade as a senior analog IC design engineer at Texas Instruments. He has published over 10 SCI/EI and IEEE papers and holds 4 international invention patents and 10 national patents. Joining the institute, he will apply years of accumulated expertise to industrialise printed flexible piezoelectric film pressure sensors in Hefei.
